Solya continuously surfaces the inventory that needs attention — items about to run out, and items that are not selling and tying up capital — so you can act before it costs you.

Stock-out risk

Variants about to run out, ranked by days of supply.

Dead stock

Variants that haven’t sold in a long time, by location.

The two kinds of risk

RiskQuestion it answersBased on
Stock-out”What will I run out of soon?”Days of supply = stock ÷ sales velocity.
Dead stock”What isn’t selling and is locking up capital?”Days since the last sale.

Where you see it

  • Dashboards — add the Stock-out risk and Dead stock table blocks to any dashboard.
  • Signals — turn risk into proactive alerts (see Risk & signals below).

Acting on risk

From a risk view you turn a finding into a plan:
  • Stock-out → a restock plan (order more) or a rebalance plan (move stock from a shop that has it).
  • Dead stock → a markdown plan (discount to clear) or a rebalance to a location where it sells.

Risk & signals

Risk also powers automation:
  • RISK_SCORE is an alert metric — you can alert when a risk score crosses a threshold, over a perimeter.
  • Solya’s decision layer computes per-variant risk scores (stock-out risk, overstock risk, and the matching restock/transfer urgency) that feed recommendations and the score-driven workflow strategies.
Risk is computed over your analytics data (the gold layer fed by ingestion). The stock-out and dead-stock thresholds below are fixed, sensible defaults.
