The Tasks inbox gathers the work that needs your attention into one list. Each task points to a source that needs a decision and carries workflow metadata (status, priority) so nothing falls through the cracks.

Where tasks come from

A task is created from a source entity:
SourceWhat it represents
Plan approvalA plan pending an approval decision.
Alert instanceA raised alert that surfaced an issue.
Recommended planAn AI-generated plan recommendation to review.
Recommendation digestA batched summary of recommendations (grouped by shop and domain).
Plan approvals are the primary live source today; the alert- and recommendation-sourced tasks are rolling out. Either way, the inbox is the single place to see open work.

Status & priority

StatusMeaning
OpenAwaiting action (default).
In progressYou’ve started on it.
DoneCompleted.
DismissedIntentionally skipped.
Tasks also carry a priority: low, medium (default), high, or urgent.

Working with the inbox

1

Open Tasks

Go to Apps → Tasks to see open and in-progress work for your organization.
2

Act from the source

Click a task to jump to its source — e.g. the approvals queue for a plan approval — and make the decision there.
3

Stay in sync

Use Refresh to re-sync the inbox from all sources. A task closes automatically once its source is resolved (e.g. the approval is decided).
The navbar shows a badge with your count of open + in-progress tasks. Tasks are organization-scoped.
